The American occupation of Iraq should end

Since the American war in 2003 until now Iraq sunk in many problems including corruptions, lack of services, hypocritical leaders, lack of security, assassinations, killings, and deteriorations in all aspects of life. The only ones who benefited from the occupations are those who came with it and controlled power. It is wrong to believe that there was democracy and election in Iraq. All what was in Iraq are greedy groups and parties for power and wealth. There are no differences between those who won the election or those who were not. It is all about personal advantages. America and those stands with it killed millions of Iraqis and destroyed their civil infrastructures long time before the war in 2003. The American involvement started from 1979 after the revolution of Khomeini in Iran when they assisted Saddam Hussein to control power after deposing his uncle Al-Baker. Saddam waged an American supported war against Khomeini. Khomeini then continued the war for 8 years. He refused to stop it in response to a unilateral stoppage of war by Iraq after the first 6 days. That war was followed by 1991 Kuwait war then the barbaric sanction in which at least one million Iraqi children killed followed by 2003 occupation. America and the West had a lot of Iraqi children’s’ blood in their hands. The American occupation of Iraq should end and they should pull the last solider of their army from Iraq before the end of the 2011.

Gaddafi and his regime should face trial due to genocide against humanity

The UN resolution 1973 to protect the Libyan people from the genocide crimes of Gaddafi failed to provide full and sustained protection. This resolution was only effective in the first 48 hours after the air strikes forced Gaddafi forces to retreat.

The revolutionists were nearly achieving determined victory before Gaddafi used new tactics to return back despite the UN resolution. The air strikes decreased significantly during the same period when Gaddafi forces pushed the rebels back.

For the protection of the civilians the rebels need to have strong weapons that they lack now and they need sustained airstrikes by the allied forces to help them to reach Tripoli. They then need to launch their final attack on the Gaddafi stronghold.

Gaddafi forces are now killing the civilians in Mosrata and other cities. The TV pictures showed Gaddafi troops mercilessly killing even wounded civilians, doctors and patients in the hospitals. They cut water supplies, electricity and blocking sewage. It is inhumane atrocities inflicted by Gaddafi forces on normal civilians including children, elderly and women.

The UN resolution should be implemented with sustained actions on the Gaddafi forces and his mercenaries to enable the civilians to achieve their rights including freedom and protection from the killers. The military means of Gaddafi that he used to kill the civilians should be destroyed. Any means that Gaddafi used to attack civilians should be attacked including weapons, vehicles, command centres, and others by pre-emptive strikes.

The international community should put increasing pressure steadily on the Gaddafi regime until he end killing civilians and steps down. Gaddafi and any one with him are criminals of genocide against humanity and they should be brought to international justice.

There should be a dead time for those who are still with him to abandon the regime and if they do not then they should face trials of genocide with Gaddafi. It is not Gaddafi by his hands alone killing the civilians but he kills by the hands of those who are standing with him and stayed with him until the end. All those stayed with Gaddafi should be brought to justice.
