Supplication for the Removal of Worries
By: Imam Ali Bin Al-Hussein (Peace be up on Him)
O Reliever of worry!
O Remover of grief!
O Merciful in this world and the next and Compassionate in both!
Bless Muhammad and his Household, relieve my worry, and remove my grief!
O One,
O Unique,
O Eternal Refuge!
O He Who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not any one!Preserve me, purify me, and take away my affliction!
HERE YOU SHOULD RECITE THE THRONE VERSE (2:255), THE TWO SURAS OF TAKING REFUGE (113-114), AND UNITY (112); please see them at the end of this prayer. THEN SAY:
O God, I ask Thee with the asking of him whose neediness is intense, whose strength is frail, whose sins are many, the asking of one who finds no helper in his neediness, no strengthener in his frailty, no forgiver of his sin other than Thee,
O Possessor of majesty and munificence! I ask of Thee a work through which Thou wilt love him who works it and a certainty by which Thou wilt profit him who is certain with the truth of certainty concerning the execution of Thy command!
O God, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
take my soul while it is firm in sincerity, cut off my need for this world, make my desire for what is with Thee become a yearning to meet Thee, and give me true confidence in Thee! I ask of Theethe good of the writ that has been made and I seek refuge with Thee from the evil of the writ that has been made. I ask of Thee the fear of The worshipers, the worship of those humbly fearful of Thee, the certainty of those who have confidence in Thee, and the confidence of those who have faith in Thee.
O God, make my desire in my asking like the desire of Thy friends in their asking, and my fear like the fear of Thy friends!
Employ me in Thy good pleasure through works in which I will not leave aside anything of Thy religion fearing any of Thy creatures!
O God, this is my need, so make my desire for it great, within it make manifest my excuse, through it instil me with my argument, and by means of it make well my body!
O God, some rise in the morning having trust or hope in other than Thee. I rise in the morning, and Thou art my trust and my hope in all affairs, so decree for me those which are best in out come and deliver me from misguiding trials,O Most Merciful of the merciful! And God bless our chief, Muhammad the Messenger of God, the chosen, and his Household, the pure!
THE THRONE VERSE (2:255),
Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).
Surah 113 of the Holy Quran. The Daybreak, Dawn
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn; From the mischief of created things; From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads; From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
Surah 114 of the Holy Quran. Mankind
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, The King (or Ruler) of Mankind, The Allah (for judge) of Mankind, From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper), (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind, Among Jinns and among men.
Surah 112 of the Holy Quran. Unity; the Oneness of God (ALLAH)
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.
Supplications in Islam: when one feels sick
by Imam Ali Bin Al-Hussein (Al-Sajad) (Peace be upon Him)O God, to Thee belongs praise
for the good health of my body
which lets me move about,
and to Thee belongs praise,
for the ailments which Thou causest to arise in my flesh!
For I know not, my God,
which of the two states deserves more my thanking Thee
and which of the two times is more worthy for my praise of Thee:
the time of health, within which Thou makest me delight in the agreeable things of Thy provision, through which Thou givest me the joy to seek the means to Thy good pleasure and bounty,
and by which Thou strengthenest me for the acts of obedience
which Thou hast given me success to accomplish;
or the time of illness through which Thou puttest me to the test and bestowest upon me favors: lightening of the offenses that weigh down my back,
purification of the evil deeds into which I have plunged, incitement to reach for repentance, reminder of the erasure of misdeeds through ancient favor;
and, through all that, what the two writers write for me:
blameless acts, which no heart had thought, no tongue had uttered, and no limb had undertaken, rather, as Thy bestowal of bounty upon meand the beneficence of Thy benefaction toward me
O God,bless Muhammad and his Household,
make me love what Thou hast approved for me,
make easy for me what Thou hast sent down upon me,
purify me of the defilement of what I have sent ahead,
erase the evil of what I have done beforehand,
let me find the sweetness of well-being,
let me taste the coolness of safety,
and appoint for me a way out from my illness to Thy pardon,
transformation of my infirmity into Thy forbearance,
escape from my distress to Thy refreshment, and safety from this hardship in Thy relief!
Thou art gratuitously bountiful in beneficence,
ever gracious in kindness,
the Generous, the Giver,
Possessor of majesty and munificence
Islam is the pathway for paradise
In the Name of Allah the most Gracious and the most Merciful
This is how the Holy Quran starts at the beginning of each chapter (Sura). It is by his name the Lord of the Universe and the creator of the seven Earths and the seven Heavens. The Holy Quran is the most positive book in the world which can tell about the past from before there was no existence but Allah until beyond the time when every one either go to paradise or to the hell fire. If you would like to know more then READ IT! RAED THE HOLY QURAN, it is the words of God reveled to Prophet Mohammed (Allah blessing and peace be up on him and his family) which is never changed as God said that he will protect it from alteration until the Day of Judgment. Islam is reflected in its real picture inside the Holy Quran and not by any peoples who may be fallible and may go astray. It is the Quran which never go astray and in it is God talking to you so see for yourself what He is telling you as a human being!? Yes it is in the Holy Quran God speaks to the mankind as a whole in several verses.
Islam is peace towards yourself, your family, your neighbors, your society and so forth and so until it reaches the universe and the Lord of the Lords. If Islam is implemented in the Earth in its real way of life then the mankind will reach into a stage where they live in peace and harmony with each other and God will bestow on them his Grace and Blessings. There will be no poverty or needy or problems with economy. Islam is way of life which gives equality to all mankind irrespective of race, colour, gender, or other differences. It governs the way between parents and children with respect and bounty and makes the relation between wives and husbands full with mercy and kindness. These things are in the Holy Quran and that is why I advised you to READ IT!
In the Holy Quran there are verses for healing or to help healing. Indeed all the verses in the Holy Quran are for healing of any kind of illnesses whether psychological or organic. Islam is the way leading to paradise and it is the religion of Ibraham, Isac, Yosef, Jacob, Jona, Adam, Moses, and Jesus Christ (Peace be up on them all). Isalm is the religion that Jesus Christ asked you to follow when its time come. Open your eyes well and use your brain before the dream of this life end and you will find your self in front of Allah who will ask you why you haven’t chose the Straight Path?! The straight Path is the Islam and this is mentioned in the first Chapter (Surat Al-Fatiha) or the opening chapter of the Holy Quran! Why you do not see it for yourself and may Allah open a light inside your heart for Islam. You will be so lucky if this is going to happen to you because you will then lead a way of happiness in this life and paradise is yours in the hereafter.
Iraq local election results
The results of the local election announced yesterday indicate that the Iraqi people are voting for those who showed that they got some agenda to improve the living standard and services. This a major progression from the first election in which the voting was chaotic and was based on the ethnic and sectarian issues. There is drawback and dissatisfaction with those who mislead the people and used only slogans and sectarian issues as a way to gain votes. The Iraqis started to understand the game of the election and the results indicates that they will vote for those who would be honest and trying to rebuild the services and improve the life standard rather than to those who try to gain votes on ethnic or sectarian issues.
The results indicates that Al-Hakeem party and his group are now pushed back while there are gains for new groups and independent individuals who are more liberal and non-seatrain. Al-Malki group had some gain in some provinces in the South and in Baghdad. Similar thing happened in Anbar and Diyala where the voters went away from the religious parties towards the liberal and secular groups who concentrate on services and life standard rather than ethnic issues.
All over the results gave no over all majorities to any particular group and therefore they are thinking about collations to be able to get majority. If there is any good results out of this election it was the maturation of the voters and the realisation of the parties that they need to change their way of dealing with things. They now know that people will keep monitoring them according to what they are doing and not what they are saying.
