Is COVID-19 a warning sign?
COVID-19 virus is nothing but a warning to mankind about something more serious will happen in the near future. Not always we might be able to produce an effective vaccine and the most important is preventions. Preventions will start in changing our way of how to deal with environment and nature. Dealing with animals and ourselves in a wrong way against nature and balance in nature is the initial step towards corruption and spread of infectious diseases.
It has been reveled in chapter 30 versus 41 in the Holy Quran the following: “Disorder and corruption has prevailed on land and sea owing to the evil (deeds) which people have wrought. The result will be that He will make them taste (in this world) the fruit of (some of) their misdeeds so that they may return (to the right path, giving up their evil ways)”
Everything in this universe is created by Allah including this virus, and God is able to wipe it out by saying (be and it is) but why not? Allah provided people with freedom of choice that got its own consequences. Good deed leads to good and vice versa.
When the people get away from the right path of God and the good moral values they will harvest what they seed. On the other hand, when they do good it will be fruitful for themselves.
God allow freedom of choice for people but on the same time He send warning signs and we feel that COVID-19 is one of them. It is like a rump that they put in roads to slow down to avoid more serious thing if not.
The next mutation of coronavirus could happen soon in 10-20 years time and will be more contagious and more serious.
Prophet Mohammad (Peace be up on him) said:
Never does obscenity become manifest amongst a people such that they make it open except that plagues and disease afflict them that had never appeared in their ancestors who have passed (before them).
And the holy Quran in chapter 22 versus 73 said:
O people! here is a parable, so listen to it. Those whom you call upon apart from Allâh cannot create even a fly, though they may all join hands for it. And if the fly should snatch away something from them, they cannot recover it from it. Feeble indeed is the seeker and (feeble) the sought after.
