The war against terror
After the 11/9/2001 events in New York and Washington the world discovered that the terrorist groups which were supported by the USA (Taliban and Al-Qaeda) are behind these attacks. Every one thereafter realized that the Wahabi ideology was behind the terrorist attacks in many parts of the world. The Wahabism twined by the Al-Saud family was supported and brought to power and dominance in the Arabian Peninsula by the Britain more than 70 years ago.
America and its allies led a war against the terrorism in Afghanistan and toppled the regime of Taliban that once it was supported by it. Indeed the USA helped that regime to come into power and deposited the previous more moderate regime. The war was and remained unequal and by using hi-Tec and very strong power against weaker targets. The USA therefore deposited the regime of Taliban and forced the Qaeda members like UBL to flee to the mountains. However the USA and its allies were unable to achieve victory and terminate the whole nets and its members. This is partly due to the failure of the large power to finish small and changeable (ghostly) targets. Once again and for the long run the doctrine which feed the terrorism with hate and mental drive remained untouched.
The last few months indicated a big failure in the war against terrorism indeed. The Taliban return stronger than in 2001 and they are now more able to inflict serious damages in the Allied forces. These forces exposed into big losses in the last few weeks. Similar situation happened in Iraq.
The rebound of terrorism will take several forms and some of it will certainly happen in the Western countries sooner or later. The terrorists will do every thing to reach into their targets by all kind of destructive weapons. The targets show no mercy and will not discriminate.
There are certain reports estimated that the terrorism through its Wahabi supply enjoying very large financial support. This including the media which provides extremely large number of hours over 24 hours per day and 7 days per week all over the world with thousands of channels and communications. Such support is of no doubts coming from the oil-rich Gulf States. It may not be the government of these states but it is certainly the rich Wahabi and pro-Wahabi groups, companies and people.
The world is not going to stay the same and it will certainly change in the next few years or decades. In the Middle East Al-Qaeda will try to establish for it a state in the one of the oil rich states. The apparent target is Iraq however the secret and most important one is Saudi Arabia. They will make changes there through the existed systems which are full with loyal, supporters and advocates. Once they get control of power no one can do anything and there are many examples existed about this in the region.
The other change is the emergence of Iran as a regional power. The Middle East with Iran emerging as a regional nuclear power with very weak Iraq is the outcome of the American policy since 1979 when they supported Saddam and his war against Khomeini followed by another two major wars and 12 years sanction in between. This is not only weakened Iraq and killed millions of its citizens but led to emergence of the new changes. Sooner Iran will declare itself as a nuclear state and it is already got the means to deliver such destructive power on far reaching precise weapons. Iran today is not Iran last night and the Middle East is far more different from the one in 1970s.
The war against terrorism will never succeed without the help of the regional powerful states like Iran and will not win if the roots remained intact and the suppliers are free to do so. The Middle East needs freedom and democracy and not dictatorship families. On the other hand any new conflict with any state in the region like Iran will be much regretted and will send the world into chaos and the region into war only God knows where and when it will stop. Above all the regions needs stable and strong Iraq and free from the terrorists nets.
New government in Iraq
Lastly the new Iraqi government has been submitted to the National Assembly which gave its confidence.
The Interior and Defense Ministers were not appointed because of the dispute on these positions. The PM is acting as the IM while his deputy is acting as the DM.
The situation in Iraq is deteriorating daily. The average death tool from ongoing and various attacks and terrorist crimes is hundreds each day.
Bloody days in Iraq
More than 200 Iraqi people have been killed, wounded or found tortured and executed in the last 48 hours.
There are speculations that the terrorists are going to intensify their attacks with new more fatal devastating methods after the formation of the new loge-awaited government. There are signs that this government may born (though very post-maturely) next week.
Basrah will remain tense and will never settle after the incident of the British helicopter and the clashes between the demonstrators and the British forces. Some of the Western media like the BBC falsely reported that the demonstrators celebrated the incident. In actual fact when the helicopter fall down on a residential area, the people tried to reach that area to rescue the victims in the houses. The British forces then prevented them and this is where the clashes started. Among those killed in the clashes are children less than 14 years old.
Iraq is dying and sinking in a bath of blood, killing, corruption and mischief. This is not conspiracy but reality existed every day and night.
The Iraq Today
The main reason for not writing about the ongoing situation in Iraq is because of the overwhelming disastrous problems which can be summarized as follows:
- Daily attacks (suicidal, car bombs, rockets, and so on) on civilian targets
- Daily killing, assassinations, abductions, kidnapping and so on
- Targeting the doctors, university teachers, and other intellectuals (on-going)
- Every day tens of bodies of tortured and killed civilians found everywhere in Iraq
- Terrorists cross borders from Syria, Saudi Arabia and others never stopped
- Recently Iran attacked and entered the North of Iraq & Turkey masses its troops
- None or very weak progress in politico-economic issues
- Widespread corruptions
- There are areas fully controlled by terrorists especially at night
- Sectarian war (undeclared)\
- Thousands of families flee their properties for safety
- Deterioration in all aspects of life yet Zarqawi and his (cockroaches) free to kill
The Saudi Religious Police torturing Saudi woman
Few days ago the arrest of a Saudi Female Student in the University of Riyadh by the Religious Police (The Motawaiyan) the so called (Hayaat El-amar Bi-Elmarowof wa-Elnahi Aan Elmonkar) evoked wide spread protest and condemnation in the Eastern province of (Saudi Arabia).
The student (Amina Jaffar Almiskeen) is 19 years old Shiite women from the oil-rich Eastern province where most of the Saudi Shiites living. The Saudi Shias represent 25% of the whole population and more than 90% of the population in the Eastern province. They are treated as second class citizens by the state and some Wahabi Mullahs produced Fatwas permit their blood shed by considering them as part of the infidel world that should be killed as and when the opportunity became permissible.
Amina is a first year university student living studying more than 300 km away from her family in Riyadh. She had a female friend from Riyadh in the same year. The two exchanged views about different subjects and Amina expressed her views and ideas about her faith while her (Wahabi friend) was plotting some thing else for her. She was telling the Religious Police that this girl having (anti-wahabi doctrine) as she is (Rafidhiah) or (Rejecting).
Amina was then arrested by the (Wahabi Religious Police) from the University outskirt in Riyadh. She was arrested put in prison and forced to stay locked in the toilet and then was tortured (wiped). The (WRP) assaulted her and tried to violate her. Later and under pressure and widespread protest in the Eastern province the girl was released however never returned back to the university again.
This is not the only case of the basic human rights violation in the (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) but one of the most recent one. Wahabism is a hate and terror producing ideology which is responsible for most of the ongoing terror in the world in addition to the wide spread human right violation under the cover of the religion.
The basic solution to end such terror and human right violation is for the Oil-Rich Eastern provinces to have their own state as is the state of Hijaz in the West which include Makka and Madina. Above all the State of Najad should go back historically to the original rulers of Bin-Rashed Family or rulers elected by democracy. On the other hand the alliance between the Wahabis and Al-Saud family should be closed once and for ever. By this only the war against terrorism can win and the best examples are live and needs no farther explanations.
