The Iraqi battle against terrorism
The armed militia called ISIS (داعش)
are still in control of the city of Fuloja while the Iraqi forces besieged it. ISIS tried to transfer the battle into other
places such as Slieman beg in Kirkuk but they failed. They are suffering so many difficulties besieged
there. It seems that the strategy of the
Iraqi army is to isolate them for some time to avoid civilian casualties and structural
damage. On the same time it will put the armed
militias of Qaeda under ongoing pressure which may make some of them to surrender
or lay out arms. Ultimately the Iraqi forces
will eventually clear Fuloja from the terrorists.
Most of the other
areas of Alromadi have been cleared by the Iraqi forces and many families
return to their homes. One of the
specific operation in which many ISIS men killed and armed vehicles damaged completely
has been carried out inside the Syrian border before they entered Iraq, by the Iraqi
forces.
The Iraqi PM Maliki visited Ramadi today and he pointed out
that the conclusive battle is yet to come.
